The REAL Cause Of Struggle

by | Aug 19, 2014 | Uncategorized

Tell me, what’s the big “problem” you are facing today?

Struggle in finances? family? relationships? health? or work?

Here’s the REAL cause of your struggle.

And if you want to know, read further, because the cause of your problem has nothing to do with the circumstances of your life.

For example, if your problem is financial, you think that if you simply had more money, your problem would be solved.

Or if you have marital conflict, you think that if your spouse changed, there would be more peace.

But the REAL cause of your problem is rooted in the subconscious, in your beliefs about the world. And the size of your problem rests entirely in the thoughts you entertain about this challenge.

Let me give you an example.

Yesterday, I finished a half-marathon in San Diego. 13.1 miles. 2:21. Woohoo!

The last couple miles was an uphill climb. And I wrestled intimately with the truth behind the power of our mind in determining our success.

Most of the race, I ran next to my business mentor Shanda Sumpter and my friend Nicole Moore. But in the second half of the race, my legs were feeling extra-heavy, like jell-o.

Despite my coach Katya Maya’s insistence, I listened to the discomfort and slowed my pace by mile 9.

Wrestling with the mind chatter made me realize what a potent force we are dealing with.

“It’s too hot on this road.” “How long until we reach the finish line?” “There’s no way you can maintain her pace for 4 more miles, listen to your breathing.”

A committee of voices coached me insistently to slow down, take it easy, can’t keep up.

So for a few miles, I listened. I slowed down to a slightly more comfortable pace.
Toward the end, I picked up speed and raced to the finish line, but by then my racing buddies had finished one minute ahead of me.

I am sharing this with you so you can pay attention to how those voices in your head show up in sabotaging the results in your life.

They are telling you to hold back, to change direction, to say no to an opportunity, or to not ask for help.

Do you ever tell yourself, “I can do this on my own?”

And if you master your thoughts, you will master the results you create in your life.

If you want to get different results in your life (or the life you really desire), change how you THINK about your problems.

And follow up your thought practice with energy work to get to the energetic ROOT of your problem and clear the emotional charge. It is much easier to choose empowering thoughts when you rid yourself of emotional baggage.

Did you know, I can predict your success, simply by hearing how you think?

And what is beautifully inspiring, is that you have the power to change your thoughts.
